Digital Photo Laser Tachometer Non Contact Tach

Measures the rotational speed with a visible red light beam from a powerful LED. It is a great tool to measure the RPM of motors and machine parts. In wood and metal working it can be used to accurately measure the speed of a lathe or milling machine. Can be used for HVAC applications in measuring fan speed. Detection distance up to 6 feet. The HM011 is a self powered LCD hour meter, tachometer and maintenance meter. An internal lithium battery furnishes the power for the monitor. A wire around the spark plug wire of the engine provides both a tachometer signal an indicator that the engine is running. The maintenance meter is used to alert maintenance personnel that a time interval has expired and maintenance shuold be performed on the engine.

This rectangular hour meter can be used for tracking time on machinery such as boats, cars, trucks, tractors or any other device where time is used to determine oil change intervals, service requirements or where there is a need to record hours operated. Water Proof - These meters are manufactured to be water proof. The factory testing procedure is to submerge the meters to a depth of 18" for a period of 2 hours. The meter has a positive and a negative lead for easy installation. The timer has a 6 digit display with the least significant digit being 1/10 hour (99999.9) and operates on in put voltages from 6 to 40 Volts AC or DC. The hour meter timing mechanism contains a quartz oscillator which provides a high degree of accuracy. It is designed to withstand vibration and shaking up to 8g and is rated to work between -10 degrees to 150 degrees Fahrenheit. The hour meter fits in to a rectangular hole 15/16" x 1 7/16" and includes an adjustable retainer clip so that the meter can be mounted on material up to 7/16 inch thick. Meter depth behind the panel is 2 5/8 inches.
